Friday Night Service with Student Rabbi Shahar Colt
followed by an Oneg Shabbat
Torah Study Saturday morning, 9:30AM
Shahar Colt is entering her fourth year at the Rabbinical School of Hebrew College. During rabbinical school she founded and co-taught Boston's new Teen Beit Midrash, a Jewish learning space for curious teens. She has served as the rabbinic intern at the Boston-area Jewish Education Program, and over the past seven years she has taught a wide range of topics to children and adults of all ages at Temple Israel (Boston), Temple Shir Tikvah (Winchester), Kesher (Cambridge) and The Workman’s Circle (Brookline). She completed her M.A. in Social Studies Education at Tufts University while teaching in local public and private schools, as well as religious schools. You can see her biking across town in all weather, and when she’s not working she might be swing dancing, or hand building at the local clay studio.
