Second Seder in the Social Hall

Nineteen people gathered on April 13 in BHC’s social hall. Tables were set with white tablecloths, wine glasses, salt water, a seder plate and haggadahs.

Melissa lit the candles, Dave led the service and shared some opening words, and all took turns reading the haggadah. We washed hands, prayed, dipped, sang, ate and drank. The pot luck dinner was reliably delicious, including matzah ball soup, salmon patties, wheat free lasagna, sweet matzah kugel and an assortment of side dishes and desserts.

The evening included lively discussions, spontaneous singing, and the joy of togetherness. Plan to join the Second Seder in the Social Hall next year (“Next year in Jerusalem?”)!
