The 12th season of Sounds in the Sanctuary began on a high note with an exquisite concert featuring pianist Bernard Rose and violinist Anna Lim. Their performance drew an enthusiastic audience of 70 attendees—an excellent turnout that demonstrates the continuing appreciation for live chamber music in the North Country.

Bernard Rose, who has had the honor of opening every Sounds in the Sanctuary season, once again brought his signature depth and nuance to the piano. Anna Lim, making her third appearance with the series, captivated the audience with her lyrical phrasing and dynamic range on the violin.

The enthusiastic applause and post-concert conversations were a testament to the success of the opening. It was a powerful start to what promises to be another remarkable season of Sounds in the Sanctuary.
