Lech Lecha (Lover) - A Judith Felsen Poem

Lech Lecha Lover,

You came to take me from my father’s house

At Your appointed time

To break the rules

To expedite a mission

To myself

Now obsolete

A world in failing judgment

Falls to wayside

As this stint divine continues…

Events emerge to be

Perceived with different eyes

A banquet of experiences

Left to be decoded and transformed

You, Lover, Lech Lecha

Have come to sight and clear debris

Residuals of culture to be yielded

In mercy, tenderness, and absolution

Hatred falls away to

Love uncompromising

Lech Lecha Lover

Solvent of separation

Lead me, guide me, teach me, show me…

Lech Lecha universe opening…

Love, the solo medium, language and law….

Lech Lecha Lover,

I did not know I was waiting…

I know now… committed to journey Lech Lecha Love…
